Digital Curve Media is celebrating its 8th anniversary in business. 8 years went by in a flash. Here are 5 key things I have learned along the way.
1.Hustle. If you outwork the competition, good things will come your way. The more opportunities you create, the better the odds, so keep the pedal down, because there is always someone else looking to catch you.
2. Be Humble. Learn from your mistakes! Oh yes! I have made a few, but do not let any setbacks hamper your goals. Mistakes help you get closer to perfection. It's all part of the process.
3. Be invaluable to your clients. Bringing value to your clients is where you have staying power. THEIR successes = YOUR successes. You don't always need the credit, as long as your clients know what value you bring to their business.
4. Empowering Employees. Learning how to be a boss means managing people and personalities. Allowing employees input in decision-making empowers them. Also, remember how I wanted to be treated; working for other bosses has helped me maintain strong working relationships.
5. Love what you do. Starting your own company and making a living doing it is the ultimate dream job. Our clients see our passion for what we do and it shows in our work.
I am grateful to be where I am today, and for all the help my family, friends and business associates have had in making Digital Curve Media & Marketing what it is today.
