Digital Curve Marketing was asked to produce a promotional video for Grasonville Volunteer Fire Department. They do a Monthly Chicken BBQ dinner to raise proceeds for a new Fire Station on the first Sunday of each month from April to November.
To create more awareness, we interviewed Dave Bell, a GVFD volunteer firefighter to explain where the proceeds go and the chicken cooking process. "We cook about 200 chickens on the first Sunday of each month. We get up at 6 am for prep, get the grills and chicken on by 8 am, and usually takes 2 hours," says Bell.
"Shooting this video was fun because who doesn't love BBQ Chicken," says Chad Alvarez of Digital Curve Marketing. "This really is the best deal in town! You get a half chicken and can add corn and desserts for a dollar or 2 more."
"You can smell the chicken when you watch this video!" says Alvarez.
This is the power of Video Marketing
The Grasonville Voluntary Fire Department video was seen organically over 1800 times and shared over 30 times in a matter of a week. With that type of free organic visibility, they were able to sell 200 chicken dinners in 2 hours and cleaned up by 1 pm on Sunday!
