Bay Bridge Run

The 2023 Bay Bridge Run on November 12, 2023 was a beautiful day on Kent Island. With fall colors in full effect, our drones captured lightning in a bottle with an amazing backdrop that made the star of the show, the Chesapeake Bay Bridge look magnificent!

The Baltimore Sun reported a record-breaking 18,000 participants in the annual Bay Bridge Run walk and run across the eastbound span from Annapolis to Kent Island under partly cloudy skies and chilly temperatures.

Clay Revolution Studios

In the Metal Clay World, Clay Revolution is changing the game with their newly created formula of Metal Clay which is going to be the new go-to standard in the industry. We were contacted to help reveal this new "Project X" formula with a video series of "James Bond" style commercials of mystery and intrigue.

Clay Revolution hired James Bond professional impersonator James Taggert of 007now.com to portray Bond as he learns from "M" what this mystery clay is all about.

We also had a guest "Bond Girl" appearance from Melissa Kay-Steves, owner of Charmtree Jewelry Studio who graciously provided her studio for the video shoot.

THE 80/20 RULE

There is an 80/20 rule when it comes to self-promotion. 80% of the time, you should be educating your target audience about the benefits of the things you offer and why they matter. For the other 20%, you should be soft-selling or simply using CTA's (Call to Action) that simply ask for the business.

Nobody wants to feel sold, so constantly bombarding your audience to buy is a turn-off. The key to selling is to not "sell" but to educate. The more you educate, and the more perceived value you give away, instills trust in your audience. You must first "earn the right" before you ask for the business!

So, the next time you post on social media platforms, ask yourself... am I establishing trust and gaining the right to ask for the business? Establishing the authority where people perceive you as "the expert" takes time, so think about that when you are planning a social media strategy for your business.

Bosom Buddies Charities

Bosom Buddies Charities is at the forefront of the fight against breast cancer and donates to hospitals for breast imaging machines, community groups, and families affected by breast cancer.

This documentary speaks with doctors, plastic surgeon technicians, Medical Directors, and cancer survivors, to give you an inside look at the fight against breast cancer. You will be amazed at what you see and hear. Cancer will change your life in an instant, but “together in this fight… we will soar to new heights”.

Attending the Bosom Buddies Ball as a videographer allowed us to see first-hand the effects of breast cancer. So many strong women in the room leading the charge to raise awareness and research. We were proud to be a part of it... telling their story. The main video encompasses the vibe of the evening, as well as showing auction items and an outro of portrait shots encapsulating "Memories from the Ball".

The establishment of Bosom Buddies Charities was the fulfillment of a long-time dream of Queen Anne’s County resident Susan Ponchock.

After surviving an aggressive breast cancer diagnosis over 26 years ago, she founded Bosom Buddies Charities in 2006 to raise breast cancer awareness and provide diagnostic services to the residents of the Eastern Shore.

In the last 15 years, the organization has raised over $2 million in support of her mission. Susan passed away on March 19, 2021. Susan was enormously proud of what Bosom Buddies Charities has accomplished and grateful to all the people who helped her make it a powerful voice in advancing awareness and treatment.
