Hilton Garden Inn

In 2019, The Hilton Garden Inn on Kent Island underwent a large renovation project and wanted to showcase their upgrades to the general public. In doing so, they entrusted Digital Curve Marketing to produce a 30-second TV spot for cable television and streaming services along with social media campaigns to push their initiative.

The theme of the commercial was to reach locals on Kent Island who are unaware they can walk in and take advantage of these services.  The commercial showcased their large bourbon selection as well as dinner and breakfast hours.

Digital Curve Marketing added social media campaigns to further extend the reach of their message.

TintWorks Plus / TWP MotorSports

Tint Works Plus was a first for us working in the custom auto industry providing reputation management services.  The owners Ritchie & Misty Gibson wanted Southern Maryland to know they were the best at what they do, yet google reviews did not represent the premium services and custom work Tint Works provided.  Within 90 Days, not only were we able to position them as the #1 rated business in their industry, they have more than doubled their competition with 80+ reviews since we came on board.

They were also in need of a new website immediately when they were dissatisfied with their former web developer and pulled the plug completely.

Having to build a website literally from scratch, I teamed up with the Gibsons to write the entire website content as well as build the layout and imagery from scratch.  We utlilized the new Oxygen software to use in WordPress to custom build a unique and personal business website that represented the history and quality that is Tint Works Plus.

Project Bright Future

Project Bright Future is a regional initiative aimed at youth in our communities who are seeking an alternative to the traditional “path to college” by pursuing a trade, working in the hospitality industry, or developing skills in manufacturing, construction, and the trades.

The mission is to create awareness of the excellent career opportunities available to students in the five-county service area of Chesapeake College and to increase student participation in career technology education (CTE) programs, Youth Apprenticeship, and Dual Enrollment.

The vision is to create a pipeline of skilled workers to meet not only the demands of our current business base but also to assist in business retention, expansion, and attraction for the region. A goal of the initiative is to support the creation of a regional CTE training center based at Chesapeake College to provide vocational training to support our largest industries and to create opportunities for growth in new industries.

Alvarez said the concept of showcasing students showing their hands working in their fields was really fun to film.  “The students were extremely proud to show what they can do and be a part of this marketing initiative, and that is to bring the skilled trades back as a major pathway in high schools and through college,” says Alvarez.
